The products that Zenus bank offers are retail and commercial accounts. Both of these accounts can send payments however you cannot use your personal account for business purposes and vice versa.
Zenus Bank has comprehensive insurance policies via leading global insurers to keep the bank and clients’ deposits safe. We are not a member of the FDIC or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
Zenus’ choice to operate as a full-reserve bank is critical in protecting your funds. We do not invest customer deposits. This means there is little to no risk, giving you peace of mind and reassurance that your money is not going safely in place.
All client deposits are held in top-tier financial institutions including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. This has the added benefit of FDIC coverage applying to our correspondent accounts held at other institutions.
As a full reserve digital bank, the risks that apply to our customer deposits are different from traditional FDIC insured banks.
Our current insurance coverage takes into consideration the size of the bank and the policies will grow as needed to provide optimal coverage for the institution and our clients. We have Cybersecurity and Crime insurance policies from top tier international insurers that cover all transactions and deposits you may hold at Zenus Bank.
Your account is protected, among other things, against:
We've added lots of technical security features to your Zenus account but you need to help keep it secure. Here are some simple security steps we recommend you take:
1. Use a strong, unique password.
(Your password must be a minimum of 12 characters long, use a combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters)
2. Do not share your password with anyone.
3. Do not use the same passwords you use for your social media or emails.
(You might want to consider using a password manager to manage all of your login credentials for you. They can also generate ultra-secure passwords, saving you from having to remember lots of different ones or resorting to using the same one for everything)
4. Do not share logins.
(If one or more people use your device, you should all have separate logins)
5. We use advanced compound biometrics to make sure only the original applicant has access to the account.
If you believe your Zenus account has been compromised and you still have access, we recommend you:
If you cannot log in, please reset your password using the password retrieval tool. Once you regain access to your account, please update your security details as suggested above.
If you can’t reset your password, scroll down this page and click on “if not, contact Client Services”. This link will direct you to our inquiry form. Please ensure you provide the required information on the form and select the following topic, "Problems with our website, app or online banking".
Your claim will be reviewed by a Zenus representative who will look into the issue to resolve it.
